The Champlain Regional Planning Table (RPT) for Two Spirit, Trans, Intersex and Gender Diverse Health is a coalition of community members and service providers working to improve Two Spirit, trans, intersex and gender diverse health in Ottawa and the surrounding areas.<\/p>

The vision of the RPT is to ensure Two Spirit, trans, intersex and gender diverse people of all ages within the Champlain region have access to client-centered, culturally appropriate, gender affirming and timely transition-related care; health care; services and programs for mental health, addictions and concurrent disorders; and social services across the Champlain region. Our vision is for healthcare, mental health and social services to meet the diverse needs of Two Spirit, trans, intersex and gender diverse, and that they are available when and where they need it.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

La TPR a \u00e9t\u00e9 <\/br>fond\u00e9e en 2016.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The RPT was formed in 2016 through a unique collaboration between Two Spirit, trans, intersex and gender diverse community members and service providers from health and social service organizations, with support from the Champlain Local Health Integration Network (LHIN).<\/p>

The current RPT membership includes Centretown Community Health Centre, the Children\u2019s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Family Services Ottawa, Seaway Valley Community Health Centre, The Ottawa Hospital, and six Two Spirit, trans, intersex and gender diverse community members<\/span>. The RPT is also supported and strengthened by a sibling Community Advisory Table (CAT), a trans-only space for community members to discuss the work and priorities of the RPT, to provide input and feedback on the actions of the RPT, to build community and to share the work of the RPT\/CAT with broader Two Spirit, trans, intersex and gender diverse communities in the region.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Les efforts de la TPR sont guid\u00e9s par des consultations aupr\u00e8s de membres des communaut\u00e9s trans, bispirituelles, intersexes et de diverses identit\u00e9s de genre.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Notre Table consultative communautaire (TCC) fournit des r\u00e9flexions sur nos priorit\u00e9s et nos activit\u00e9s, soutient nos activit\u00e9s d\u2019engagement communautaire et entreprend d\u2019autres initiatives li\u00e9es \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 des personnes trans et de diverses identit\u00e9s de genre dans la r\u00e9gion de Champlain.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

La TPR s\u2019engage \u00e0 s\u2019assurer que ses membres proviennent de divers horizons au sein des communaut\u00e9s trans, bispirituelle, intersexe et de diverses identit\u00e9s de genre. En particulier, nous recherchons la participation de personnes autochtones, de personnes noires, de personnes racialis\u00e9es non noires et non autochtones, de francophones, de personnes nouvellement arriv\u00e9es au Canada, de personnes handicap\u00e9es, de jeunes et de personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Le RPT exerce ses activit\u00e9s sur un territoire algonquin non c\u00e9d\u00e9, connu sous le nom colonial de r\u00e9gion de Champlain. La TPR s\u2019engage fermement \u00e0 int\u00e9grer dans ses activit\u00e9s la comp\u00e9tence culturelle autochtone et la reconnaissance de l\u2019histoire, des cultures et des exp\u00e9riences autochtones. La TPR s\u2019engage \u00e0 travailler de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 combattre le cissexisme, le racisme, le sexisme, le capacitisme, le colonialisme, le classisme, l\u2019h\u00e9t\u00e9rosexisme, ainsi que la stigmatisation, l\u2019effacement et l\u2019invalidation des corps intersexu\u00e9s, et \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre la nature interconnect\u00e9e des diff\u00e9rentes formes d\u2019oppression. La TPR s\u2019engage \u00e0 collaborer avec divers groupes des communaut\u00e9s trans, bispirituelles, intersexu\u00e9es et de diverses identit\u00e9s de genre, et \u00e0 mener ses activit\u00e9s de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 valoriser et \u00e0 reconna\u00eetre les personnes qui subissent diff\u00e9rentes formes d\u2019oppression.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
